Dine and enjoy your favorite cocktail surrounded by a panoramic view of the colorful Wharf area and the skyline of the City in our traditional Dining Room or on the Upper Deck. The views are magnificent, some of the best in a city of superlative vistas. From the large, casual and relaxing dining area, with its view of the Bay, to the great selections on the menu, there's plenty to make Castagnola's stand out from the crowd. The Prime Rib and New York Strip Steak, and of course plenty of fresh seafood choices. There are many pasta dishes as well and the crab cakes are popular appetizers. Full bar service offers a good selection of cocktails. Even the desserts, with the exception of the sourdough bread pudding, are ever-familiar: lemon cheesecake, mud pie, almond-raspberry torte.
But if you happen to be passing by and hungry, this is as good as any. Castagnola's continually seeks to provide you with a positive and memorable San Francisco dining experience. Great for business, pleasure, intimate dinning atmosphere. Conversation is no problem here-noise levels are discreet. Castagnola's is great for private parties too. Banquet facilities and a dance floor are available for large parties. Catering for various events can be arranged (call 415-776-5015 for details). view our menu
What our customers say...
-Fine seafood dining. Service is attentive and knowledgeable. Great view of fishing boats. As a local, this is the place I take people when visiting Fisherman's Wharf. Ask for a window seat when I'm not there!

-I had the swordfish steak served on a bed of mashed potatoes surrounded by salsa verde and a tomato sauce, topped
with finely chopped roasted green onion. Excellent chowder too. This is one of the best seafood meals I have ever eaten.
It is right on the public wharf -large windows let you look out to the water. I dine here every time I go to San Francisco
